NT Friendship & Support is led by an Executive Officer. Underpinning this is a Leadership Team
Stephanie Ransome – Executive Officer
Stephanie commenced with NT Friendship & Support Inc in June 2017 and brings more than 13 years of experience in the Community Services sector to the role.
Prior to this appointment Stephanie had the opportunity to work with Wirakka Maya (Aboriginal Health service) in South Hedland, WA as the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Manager.
Stephanie has also held an Executive Manager role with Good Samaritan Industries, a large WA Disability Services Orgnisation, and was a senior manager with Intework LifeSkills (now InteLife) in WA.
Her professional life commenced in the Community Services sector working as a Community Mental Health Worker supporting people with chronic mental health in Rockingham and Mandurah WA.
Stephanie was recruited by the board to utilise her skills in change management and to stewardship the organisation on its journey into the NDIS world.
Stephanie is passionate about leading the NT Friendship & Support Team into the future and ensuring that people are at the centre of their services. She has volunteered on a number of not – for – profit committees and boards in WA.
Stephanie currently sits on the Integrated disAbility Action (IDA) management committee, which is a peak body for people with disability and also the Board of National Disability Services NT.
Stephanie loves the beautiful rugged life in the Territory and its beautiful landscape and stunning sunsets and is glad to be able to call Katherine her home.
Tricia Kelly – Community Engagement Executive Manager
Tricia Kelly has worked extensively in the area of Care and Protection of children in care in the Territory. She has extensive knowledge in this field and is passionate about the care and rights of children who are in the Care of Territory Families. She works tirelessly to ensure each child is placed with a registered carer and that their rights and needs are upheld to a high standard.
Tricia is the Community Executive Engagement Manager which over sees many services for Katherine.
Out of Home Care, Respite House, Seniors program under Commonwealth Home Support, community access programs and EqualiTEA Café.
Tricia has work with her staff in EqualiTEA café to ensure it is a fully inclusive model. She has had to use her years of experience as a Country Club Manager to ensure all processes and procedures are compliant with all of the relevant acts and legislation
She is currently enrolled in the Woman in Leadership and Management course which she was able to secure a scholarship for and uses her skills and knowledge from this on a daily basisTricia has extensive training and education in Counselling, Aged Care and Disabilities and has consistently worked her way up to the executive team and is now NT Friendship & Supports Community Executive Engagement Manager.
Lucy Markoff – NDIS Executive Manager
Lucy started with NT Friendship & Support in late 2017, and before her appointment, had worked extensively with people with a disability, marginalised groups and at-risk young people. She has demonstrated experience in leadership roles across a number of non-government organisations. While Lucy originally fairs from Central Victoria, she now calls the Territory home.
Prior to her commencement at NT Friendship & Support, Lucy worked as the Youth and Community Services Manager for YMCA Katherine (now YMCA of the Northern Territory), and prior to that headed up YMCA Victoria’s Community Development Unit as Director.
Lucy is passionate about social inclusion and human rights, and brings this passion into her day-to-day role, and when leading teams.
